Only a $50 deposit per person is needed to reserve most trips. The early bird double occupancy rate is quoted, but triple quad and single rates are available also.

The Herington Inn & Suites ( 800-597-4581) located at 565 Hwy 77, Herington, KS offers a lodging discount to Heartland Travel customers who wish to stay overnight  before or after a Heartland Travel trip.


About Us 

I am so sad that sweet Linda passed away. She was such a caring, loving and generous wife and mother. She care well for her family and the community. I will always miss her. Thanks for all the support I have recieved from our Heartland Travel friends.

I am sorry that covid-19 caused the cancelation of the 2020 trips.

Iwill try 3 shorter trips this year that I hope will be enjoyable.

Flying W Chuckwagon meal and show
It was rebuilt after the Waldo Canyon Fire, which occured in 2012.  The Flying W Ranch is famous for its smoked meat suppers served in a beautiful setting.  Entertainment by the world-re owned Flying W Wranglers.  

Garden of Gods Tour
The Garden of the Gods' red rock formations were created during a geological upheaval millions of years ago. Garden of the Gods has been designated as one of America's Top 10 Public Spaces.

Pikes Peak Clog Railway
The world's highest cog train takes guest to the summit of Pikes Peak with amazing scenery along the way.  It started in 1891, but recently has been renovated with new track and cars.

Seven Falls with meal at Restaurant 1858
On National Geographic's list of international waterfalls.  Seven Falls can be viewed fro the bottom or from the Eagle's nest platform, which can be accessed via an elevator.

Meal included at the Restaurant 1858, which is an unique dining venue situated on the banks of Seven Falls.  It offers authentic Colorado cuisine in a rustic setting.  The restaurant opened in 2015.  (Meal subject to availability)
